Scam

Your parcel could not be delivered — pay £1.45

Royal Mail <no-reply@royalmail-delivery-uk.com>

  • The sending domain pretends to be Royal Mail but isn't theirs.
  • It was registered eight days ago.
  • A small payment request is a classic parcel scam.

Don't click the link. Delete it. Royal Mail never asks for card details by email.

Be careful

Unusual sign-in attempt — confirm it's you

Microsoft Account Team <security@ms-account-alerts.net>

  • The display name says Microsoft but the domain doesn't belong to them.
  • It pushes you to act within 24 hours.

Don't use the link. Open your account by typing the address in yourself and check.

Your order #10428 has shipped

Amazon.co.uk <shipment-tracking@amazon.co.uk>

  • Sender checks passed and the domain really is Amazon's.
  • No links asking for a password or payment.

Nothing looks wrong here. Still, only sign in by typing the address yourself.

Questions

Do I have to connect my inbox?

No. Nothing gets connected and there's nothing to install. You forward an email, we reply. That's the whole thing.

Do you keep my emails?

No. We check it, reply, and delete it. We keep a short record — date, sender, subject, verdict — so your dashboard makes sense.

How long does it take?

Usually under 30 seconds. If the Spaniel is having a sniff around a tricky one it can take a little longer.

Will you ever tell me an email is safe?

Never. The best we'll say is that we found no signs of a scam. Nobody can promise an email is genuine, so we don't pretend to.

Can I forward from more than one address?

Yes on Spaniel Plus — up to three registered addresses. Free accounts get one.
